Preface
Oh,
Wise men!
What is life?
Where does it come from and where does it go?
Even if you don't know where you came from or where you are going, it can be a decent life.
So what?
Listen!
As I take hold of my life and managing its course,
I now know that I am the sovereign of heaven and earth,
and that I am the Dharmakaya that manifests and takes away the form body according to causes and conditions.
Do you understand?
Revealing my body is done by myself,
giving up my body is also done by myself,
so those are my absolute exercise of power and rights.
People have forgotten that they are the masters of the world originally,
and they think that by relying on the names of Buddha, Bodhisattva, or some holy God,
they can secure a place of refuge in the future world.
So how can they dig up the roots of life and death?
Look! If literature comes out from such a perspective, is that literature truly a literature possessed of life?
If philosophy comes out of it, is it a philosophy possessed of life?
If religion comes out of it, is it a religion possessed of life?
How pitiful!
Heaven and earth, sentient and insentient beings, even the the expressions "the right path" and "the heterodox path", are all a game of relativity that is the play of the absoluteness. But one don't know that and become entangled in them, eating away at one's eternal life.
You wise men!
Who have created the mountains, rivers, and earth?
Who have established heaven and hell?
They all are created and established by ourselves,
but because of taking on this physical form, it has merely been forgotten for a moment.
Let us recover the ten directions that we have lost
and the three realms that we have forgotten,
and let us roll our true selves in that place.
Since I am, and the mountains, rivers, and the great earth exist, is this not wonderful?
Since I am, and there are three realms, is this not wonderful?
Since I am, and there are ten directions, is this not a beautiful landscape?
I publish this small book to tell this story especially to the intellectuals.
If there are causal connections between you and me, come!
if there is not, go!
However, if you realize that the ultimate location of causal connections is empty, come back! I will welcome you!
